We just can’t get enough of our new niece Lily. It has been such an awesome experience watching Brittany and Justin turn from a loving couple into a family of three. Little Lily changes so much every day that we try and make sure we see her as often as possible. It is truly one of the most amazing things in the world I believe someone can experience. Thank goodness we have our cameras to capture some of the moments and lock them into place.

A while back we had done some maternity photos for these two and then we got busy with wedding season and forgot to post them. The last couple of weeks we snapped about a million photos of Lily so we thought we would combine them into a giant post and put them here for you all to see

Meet Tabitha Myers. She is amazing and extremely fun to shoot. Tabitha has a playfulness about her that makes her a dream to run around with and shoot pictures of. She also has big ol brains. She just completed the BAR exam. Reminder: do not argue with Tabitha.

We are.. Cami Dunn Vintage Indie Bohemian Shoot

We’ve always wanted to put together an inspiration shoot for brides, so when I saw the wonderful Lauren from Every Last Detail was asking for submissions for a section on her website she calls the Style Dictionary, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity! I called upon some of my favorite people in the business to contribute their talents. We put our heads together and came up with what we think is a simple and clean approach to a Vintage style with an Indie/Bohemian twist.

The amazing Cynthia Akins, our wonderful hair and makeup expert for the day, wanted to really play up the Bohemian style for the first look so she made beautiful big waves and added the headband from Anthropolgie to top it off! My friend and fellow photographer Cami Dunn modeled a current and fresh lace dress from Urban Outfitters that was accessorized with Steve Madden lavender heels and that insanely gorgeous cluster diamond ring from Brosh Trading Co.

For our tablescape my cousin and up and coming designer, Amy Yealy and I chose a color palette of various purples, gold and crisp white. We wanted a relaxed tablescape, nothing stuffy… just clean and simple. So we purchased flowers from Trader Joe’s and with some guidance from Yasmin Zialcita Ali of Floral Theory, we simply started adding flowers to the Ikea vases until we came up with something we liked. To add a little Southwest flair we incorporated mini-cacti and our setting for the shoot was the desert in Black Canyon City, AZ. My friend let us borrow her beautiful vintage table, and all the tableware, glasses and plates belonged to my great grandmother!

The intricate letterpress stationery was designed by Adrienne Berry of Dingbat Press. We told her our theme and what she came back with was more than we could have expected!

Jason and I had a wonderful time shooting and want to thank everyone involved. We hope you enjoy the results of these wonderful vendors coming together to create something unique and simple for future brides!

We are.. Brittany’s Belly Bump, Part 1.

By now you all know my sister Brittany… we have shared her engagements and wedding on the blog in the last few years. She and her husband are expecting their first child in May… a baby girl! We couldn’t be more excited for them and have been honored to share such a special part in their lives. Brittany is an incredible woman… loyal, compassionate, kind and strong. Her passion for helping others is sure to transition beautifully into motherhood. I have to say, it’s been such an amazing experience watching my little niece grow in that belly of hers… can’t wait to meet her! So, the first part of her maternity shoot I decided to style, just something fun and a little different than what we normally do. It was cold that morning, but she was a champ. Justin will make an appearance in part two! Thanks to everyone that helped out, especially Jason for lugging the furniture around and putting up with me! Enjoy

We are.. 2010 Reflected Upon

2010 was an amazing year to say the least. When Anna and I set out to start this business we could never have known that it was going to blow up the way it did. It still blows my mind that I can have this much fun and work with my wife to create art with fun couples. We are so gracious for all support we have gotten and we are looking forward to 2011.

I just want to take the time to thank all our family and friends for the incredible support and encouragement you have given us in the last year.
